The CBSE is launching educational podcasts and digital content focused on academics and counselling, inviting schools to nominate articulate and confident students for voluntary participation in short video/audio segments.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a new initiative to develop in-house educational podcasts and digital content covering academic and counselling themes such as examinations, mental health, and overall student well-being.
These podcasts are already available on public platforms, including YouTube, and aim to provide flexible, accessible guidance to students, parents, and schools.
To ensure the content resonates with its audience, the CBSE plans to make it more student-centric by including student voices— in the form of short video or audio interactions, testimonials, and conversational segments.
To facilitate this, affiliated schools have been asked to nominate students from Classes IX to XII who are articulate, confident, and interested in participating in these podcasts and social media content.
Participation is completely voluntary and requires written consent from both the student and their parent or guardian, to be obtained and submitted by the school.
Nominations, including names and brief profiles of students, must be submitted via a Google Form provided in the CBSE circular. Schools have been given a 10-day window from the date of the circular’s issuance to complete this process.
This initiative reflects CBSE’s broader efforts to enhance engagement through digital media, giving students a platform to express themselves and contribute actively to educational outreach, broadening the voice in formal communication beyond traditional academic settings.
