The scholarship, part of the Adani Accelerated Leadership Program, will support six MBA students annually at IIM Calcutta, with funds disbursed in two tranches based on academic performance.
Adani Group has launched a new scholarship initiative in partnership with the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta, pledging ₹1.62 crore to support future business leaders.
The program, part of the Adani Accelerated Leadership Program (AALP), will provide financial assistance to six MBA students from the institute each year.
Subhashrie R Venkatraj, Senior VP (AALP Intake) at Adani Group, said the initiative focuses on building internal talent to drive long-term growth.
"The key to success," she noted, "is nurturing an internal talent pool."
The scholarship funds will be released in two installments of ₹81 lakh each over a two-year period, with disbursement linked to students' academic performance.
Sagar Adani, promoter and executive director, emphasized the larger vision behind the scheme.
He said the group's role is to "facilitate talent building, resulting in organization building."
The initiative is positioned as both a step toward academic collaboration and an investment in the next generation of business leaders.
