Admissions will be conducted through JEE Advanced 2026 as part of the regular IIT admission process.

The institute has capped enrollment at 40 students, a move intended to maintain a focused academic environment and provide personalized learning opportunities.

According to IIT Jodhpur, the program has been designed to equip students with expertise in both mathematical sciences and computing, reflecting the growing demand for professionals who can work across these interconnected disciplines.

Over the course of four years, students will study a blend of pure and applied mathematics, programming, algorithm development, data analytics, and computational modeling.

The curriculum seeks to build strong analytical and technical skills relevant to a wide range of sectors, including artificial intelligence, technology, finance, and scientific research.

The launch comes at a time when mathematics and computing are becoming increasingly intertwined across industries, creating demand for graduates who possess both theoretical knowledge and computational capabilities.

With a limited intake of 40 seats, the program is expected to attract strong interest from JEE Advanced 2026 qualifiers exploring options during the JoSAA counseling process.

IIT Jodhpur said the degree is intended to prepare students for emerging career opportunities where mathematical reasoning, data-driven decision-making, and computational problem-solving play a central role.
